Crispy Sesame Tempeh Rice Bowls
Crispy tempeh cubes are glazed with sesame tamari sauce and served with broccoli, carrots, rice, and scallions.

Ingredients
12 oz tempeh, cubed
1 tbsp neutral oil
3 cups broccoli florets
2 carrots, shredded
2 cups cooked brown rice
2 tbsp tamari
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp maple syrup
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tsp grated ginger
1 garlic clove, grated
2 scallions, sliced
1 tbsp sesame seeds
Instructions
Step 1
Whisk the tamari, rice vinegar, maple syrup, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic.
Step 2
Brown the tempeh in neutral oil over medium-high heat until crisp on several sides.
Step 3
Add the broccoli and a splash of water, cover, and steam until crisp-tender.
Step 4
Pour in the sauce and cook until the tempeh is glazed.
Step 5
Serve over brown rice with carrots, scallions, and sesame seeds.
